The silver lace onyx cabochon by Gary Olson is an oval size, 30mm x 40mm. He uses a diamond cabbing unit to get a terrific polish on his cabs. Silver lace onyx cabs will be very similar to the cabochon picture shown to the left with colors of white, gray, yellow and black with some black dendrites possible. To our knowledge, silver lace onyx from CA is no longer being mined. Silver lace onyx is also available in rough or slab form if you would like to try making a cabochon yourself. This cab is polished and ready to set in a finding of your own choosing or design.
