Magnetic Nova laps offered by Diamond Pacific give you a fast polishing performance of Novas combined with the convenience of an easy on-off magnetic lap. The magnetic Nova lap, 12" size is priced as shown and will receive a discount at the Shopping Cart. Other sizes of the Magnetic Nova Laps are listed below and each lap is available in 9 different grit sizes. The laps attach right onto most flat laps and are easily removed. They have a 1/16" thick backing of solid rubber containing magnetized iron particles so the laps will adhere to a cast iron, steel or nickel plated lap. The laps will not work on aluminum or diamond coated discs, but in most cases on your present flat lap setup. The rubber is coated with a thick layer of special Nova resin-bond diamond formula for fast action and lasting service. The surface of the Magnetic Nova is made with a grid pattern for better performance. If you wish the 12" size without the 5/8" arbor hole, you must request this as a special order. Arbor holes available upon request: 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" or 1".
