The rough Lavic jasper from CA is a moss jasper of various highly contrasting colors of red, golds, etc. (Stock 528) Lavic jasper will take a nice polish. Some vugs or crystal pockets are found, but work around them or use them for interesting polished pieces. Sizes are small from 1/4 pound up each. Most are under one pound.
