The wrapped jasper pendant is the winning entry for the Shop Friend Contest for October, completed by Sheri Donovan of Wickenburg, AZ.  Sheri stated the following: "I would like to submit the pendant for your monthly contest.  It is an unknown jasper wire wrapped in sterling silver with a garnet bead and 2 sterling silver beads.  The entire pendant was made by me, from the rough rock to the finished pendant."  Congratulations Sheri! Your jasper pendant is very pretty and the wire wrapping makes it truly one of a kind piece of jewelry.  A bit of gold, silver, or copper wire and a little imagination, with practice, turns into some lovely jewelry that is expensive to purchase. The jasper appears to be Imperial jasper from Mexico.
