Abrasive grain, 220LG grit

Description

Silicon carbide, abrasive grain, grit size 220LG (lapping grade), is a lapping quality grit or straight grade grit and would be considered a medium grit stage for flat lapping, tumbling, sphere machines, gem drilling, or faceting. An order of one is a one pound package. For straight grade grits, picture a flat lap with all the grains of grit the same size and your rock sitting on top of those particles which are of the same size. This will give faster results for flat lapping then an assortment of grit sizes used in tumbling.
