Bead Mill, two speed

Description

The Bead Mill, two speed unit, by Covington Engineering Corp. will help you make those specialized beads of a size from 5/16″ to 3/4″ in diameter. The unit grinds up to twenty (20) 1/2″ beads at a time. Other features are 1/3hp motor, small portable size, mounted in a heavy-gauge powder coated housing. The two speed model (#1040BM) operates at 380rpm and 250rpm.  The faster speed is best suited for finishing beads after an initial grind.  The slower speed reduces the abrasize action and should be used when milling softer material such as malachite, rhodochrosite and turquoise.  These materials require light head pressure and finer abrasive grit.  As with the one speed unit at 380rpm, it is best suited for hard materials, such as agate, jasper, & jade, since it is a very aggressive action.  Please see more information by checking out the Bead Mill, single speed.
