Stone Age Industries is proud to offer our diamond blade dresser.  The large diamond blade dresser attaches to the vise on most diamond slab saws of 18″ to 36″ in size. Use screws or bolts to attach the blade dresser to the back of the saw vise.  (Screws or bolts not included) The diamond blade dresser is ready to be used when you need it.  A 1″ x 1″ x 6″ 220 grit grindstone comes with the diamond blade dresser.  When blade sharpening/cleaning is needed, slice a thin segment off of the grindstone, just enough to clean the cutting edge of the diamond blade, then proceed to slab the rock which has been clamped in the vise.  When you have completed this slab or slice and crank the vise over for the next slab, loosen the large knob on the back of the dresser and re-adjust the grindstone so that just a small amount of the grindstone is slabbed off. If the sharpener is not needed, just back it off away from the saw blade. Diamond saw blades perform better with regular cleaning/sharpening, especially when slabbing hard agate, jasper, and rock with metallic content.  Dished blades may be a thing of the past with regular sharpening instead of trying to force a dull blade through a hard dense stone.  Dimensions: 15″ x ” x 4″ x 2.5″, weight 3.5 lbs. When you need another 220 grit grindstone, see the 220 grit silicon carbide block which measures 2″ x 6″.  Slab this block in half which will  measure 1″ x 6″. Enjoy!
