Hubbard Basin wood slabs

Description

One order of Hubbard Basin petrified or fossilized wood from Nevada will contain a minimum of five one inch squares in the slab, but the image shown is of one of our larger slabs with 35 one inch squares in the material. Notice the various colors that can be found in the highly silicified wood. (Sorry all the slabs from this rough are SOLD. Hubbard Basin colors may be from gray to blue with white, gold, and possibly some pink or red. There may be some waste in the form of vugs or crystal lined vugs, but will make interesting cabochons or fantastic polished slabs for display or work around these for beautiful cabochons. Some like to incorporate the crystal lined vugs for an unusual cabochon. If you are into checking out fluorescent materials, the wood fluoresces green and white. Stock #605s.
