The new heavy duty commercial tumbler, 75RT by Diamond Pacific is based on the original Highland Park design, well known for its efficiency and long life. (Model 610-175) The three barrels are great for tumbling stones of different hardness. Put your agates in one barrel, obsidian in another, etc. Remember that the best finish on your stones is achieved by tumbling rocks of the same type or hardness together. If you put soft stones in with hard stones, you will find the soft stones will grind away, while your hard stones still need more grinding. These rotary tumblers are ideal for tumble finishing large loads of stone and for light deburring, burnishing, peening, cleaning and finishing metal parts. The new 25 pound barrels are made of industrial grade polyethlene. This barrel design does not require any liners. Lids are made water tight by inserting a neoprene rubber gasket between the barrel and the lid. The double pulley drive on the barrel rollers eliminates barrel slippage. Roller shafts are polyurethane covered. Rollers are mounted on heavy duty bronze bearings. Roller bearing barrel guides keep barrels aligned. Unit comes with 1/3HP motor with three wire cord and switch. Barrel diameter 12″. Motors are mounted inside base, with 115V/ 60 Hz. Included: three barrels with 75 lb. capacity or 7.5 gal. (NOTE: weight of the rocks and materials varies, so load capacities listed by weight are approximate. A more accurate capacity of the barrel is by volume. It is important to load your barrel to approximate 3/4 full, regardless of material and including fillers, abrasives and water.
