Covington”s commercial horizontal wet belt sander, Model 762WBS, features a  1/2HP, 110V motor mounted on a 21″ x 24″, rustproof aluminum-topped Lam-I-Cushion base.  The horizontal wet belt sander is designed for production work, & grinding long flat surfaces such as tile edges.  The supported back plate gives user a 3″ x 6”” working surface.  Also featured is the quick belt system so you can change your belts quickly and easily, plus shielded bearings, double sealed and greased for life, and more. This wet belt sander uses 3″ x 41-1/2″ sanding belts increasing grinding surface and extending belt life. Dimensions: 24″ x 24″ x 12″ with shipping weight at 72 lbs.  Motor is now shipped attached and ready to plug in and operate. A note from Covington in their recent catalog states the following: “Covington”s Horizontal Sanders are designed for heavy grinding purposes.
