Description
One polished round of Woodworthia petrified/fossilized wood from AZ. Slab sizes measures approximately from 8″ x 8″ to 9″ x 6″ x 15/16″, weighing close to 4 pounds. The slabs of Woodworthia, from the Triassic Period, about 200 million years ago, shows the remains of leaf scars or nodes on the bark of the tree or outer edge of the slab. Colors are brown, tan, blue/gray with a speck of brownish orange. Some crystal lined fractures are in each slab of polished Woodworthia, but they add interest. The polished slabs of Woodworthia are a valuable addition to any collection and worthy of museum status due to it”s rarity and quality.
