Rough: Yellow skin agate

Description

Yellow skin agate nodules from India are of excellent quality and have various patterns such as fortification bands, inclusions, similar to blackskin agate. (Stock 245) Background colors run from semi-clear to amber shades. Size of the yellow skin agate nodules are from 1/2-3 pounds each and will take an excellent polish. For ease in slabbing any small round nodule or those high quality heels too good to just tumble, the use of a Plaster of Paris mold is recommended.
