Rough: Bloodstone, tumbling

Description

Bloodstone rough from India comes in tumbling sizes, but may have some rough pieces large enough for cabbing. (Stock 226-T) The bloodstone rough sizes will vary from tumbling size chips up to less than one pound each. Bloodstone for tumbling is green with mostly small or fewer iron oxide or red spots showing, but still quality bloodstone. The red iron oxide spots are not that noticeable until wet, viewed in bright light or polished. Polishing, whether by tumbling or other, will bring out the nice bright coloring of the green and red colors of India bloodstone. Since India bloodstone is a quality dense chalcedony material, it will take a wonderful polish! The image shows a one pound sample of bloodstone for tumbling for an order of one.
