Sand Spikes, Mount Signal, CA 2

Description

These sand concretions/sand spikes are from an area close to Mount Signal, CA. The image shows a sample of the sand spikes, but only one is received in an order of 1. The deposit is known to have been depleted many years ago. The size of these sand spikes is 2″ plus. They are very rare & hard to come by.  We must thank our relatives Maggie and F.B. McShan, who have shared or traded products with us for years. They had a wonderful rock shop in Needles, CA for many years.  They are both now passed on, but we think of them often and their generosity to us over the years.  Our shop has boxes and boxes of material and when someone asked if we had Mount Signal sand spikes, the box was discovered with the sand crystals wrapped in newspaper from 1982. Hope you”ll enjoy adding these to your collection.  There will be five different sizes available to be added soon. (2″, 3″, 4″, 5″ 6″+ in length.) The weight of the 2″+ sand spikes is from from 2-5 oz. each.
